“What a great time we had in Provence on Kendall’s inaugural tour. We learned so much about French culture by living and eating like the French do everyday, not to mention painting with a professional artist outside, looking at the mountain Cézanne painted 87 times! We never expected to have so much fun...swimming in the Mediterranean, picnics with amazing food, and soirées in the evening with live performers! … our own private Petit Caberet soiree welcomed us the first night! then, the vineyard, gardens and terrace lunch, the boulangerie and patisserie, lunch and dinner with a French chef in our petit chateau kitchen, cheese tasting with graduates of cheese school, shopping at the market, outings at best restaurants, Cassis by the sea—a picnic, swim and boat ride, then art!…walking with Cézanne to paint Mont Sainte Victoire, a local artist our guide—to her studio and home for a lovely dinner! and…Marseilles’s church on the hill to watch over the sailors.. and... still time to swim in the pool over looking lavender beds and olive trees!

“Authentic Travel Adventures was the best immersive travel adventure ever! We learned
by “doing” with the native French. We learned to make French pastries through demonstration and participating at a French Patisserie. We learned to paint in the steps of Paul Cezanne by sitting with our easels and paints in view of the real Mont St. Victoire while painting! We learned to sing and dance with the French at our very own Cabaret! We hiked the Calanques of Cassis with views of the Mediterranean which were “off the charts”! We explored a French marché with explanation and tasting of delicious fresh produce. Above all, our group bonded by making life-long friendships within our special group and the wonderful French people! This was the best of the best!!! Exhilarating!!!”
